Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 16, 2026

In short: the details you record about your baby stay on your devices and in your own iCloud, shared only with people you invite. BurpNap has no servers of its own, no accounts and no ads, and we don’t sell data. Our subscription providers receive only what they need to sell and manage your subscription.

What you record

Your babies’ names, genders and birth dates, and the feeds, sleep, diaper changes, temperatures, medicines and notes you log, are saved on your device. Each baby has their own log. BurpNap never uploads them to us.

iCloud sync and family sharing

If you’re signed in to iCloud and sync is on (you can turn it off in Profile), BurpNap keeps a copy of each baby’s log in your own iCloud account using Apple’s CloudKit, so it appears on your other iPhones and iPads. Each entry is encrypted with a key kept in your iCloud Keychain before it leaves your device, so neither we nor Apple can read it. It is stored by Apple under your Apple Account and Apple’s privacy policy.

If you invite a caregiver, the people you invite can see and add to that baby’s log from their own devices. Each baby is shared separately. You can remove someone or stop sharing at any time in Profile, under Manage caregivers. When you stop sharing, people you removed keep the copy already on their devices.

Data also leaves your device when you choose to share it, for example by exporting a PDF report or CSV, or by preparing an email. You choose the recipient and the app you send it with.

Medicine reminders are local notifications scheduled by each device. Reminder settings aren’t shared with other caregivers.

Subscriptions and payments

Apple processes all payments. We never see your card or payment details. We use two service providers to offer and manage the BurpNap Premium subscription:

Neither provider receives your babies’ details or anything you log.

What we don’t do

Keeping or deleting your data

Your records stay on your device until you delete them in the app or delete BurpNap. With iCloud sync off, deleting the app removes them permanently, so export a report first if you want a copy. With sync on, the copy in your iCloud remains; you can delete it in iOS Settings under your name, iCloud, Manage Storage. Removing a baby in Profile deletes their log from that device only. To ask RevenueCat or Superwall to delete the anonymous data linked to your device, contact us.

Children

BurpNap is made for parents and caregivers, not for use by children. Information about a baby is entered by the caregiver and stays on the caregiver’s devices, in their iCloud, and with people they invite.

Health information

BurpNap is a log, not a medical device. It doesn’t diagnose, treat or verify doses. Always follow your clinician’s advice.

Changes

If this policy changes, we update the date above and, for significant changes, let you know in the app.
